I had the most incredible experience at Star Mountain Jungle Lodge in Santa Teresa. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by a magical garden with beautiful paths, butterflies, and exotic birds. The room was simple yet neat and clean, providing a safe and secure environment. My little one had a blast running around the property, collecting flowers and bugs, and swimming in the pool. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the place made me decide to extend our stay. The location is just perfect, nestled on a hill in Malpais, right on the edge of the Cabo Blanco nature preserve. We took the private "Jungle Trail" and were amazed by the howler monkeys in the distance and the breathtaking coastal views. The pool at Star Mountain was a true oasis, especially since we had it all to ourselves. We ventured into town and had a delicious meal at Mary's restaurant, which was a highlight of our trip. The room was spacious and clean, although the bed could have been more comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was simple yet satisfying, with fresh-cut fruit and yogurt. The staff at Star Mountain were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home, creating a relaxed family-style vibe. I can't recommend Star Mountain Jungle Lodge in Santa Teresa enough. It truly is a special place that I hope to visit again someday.

Our recent stay in the jungle was truly a unique experience. The secluded location made it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of wildlife and appreciated the privacy offered by the smaller hotel size. The breakfast was amazing and we loved the fresh fruit and yogurt offered daily, as well as the tasty coffee. The hiking trail was breathtaking, with many different animals and plants to see along the way. We also liked that there were nearby beaches and restaurants to check out.
Our only concern was the road leading up to the hotel. It was unpaved and had several steep hills, which made the journey difficult without a 4x4 vehicle.
